Hawker Hurricane
Douglas Bader was born on the 21st of February 1910 and joined the RAF in 1928. Bader played a active part in the Battle of Britain and became a Flight Commander of No 22 Squadron based at Duxford and operated the Supermarine Spitfire. During the Battle of Britain Bader only operated the Hawker Hurricane. The above picture shows Baders Hawker Hurricane with his Squadron marking LE-D.
