The Supermarine Walrus was a single-engine amphibious biplane designed for reconnaissance by R. J. Mitchell.
The Walrus had it first flight on 21st of June 1933, and was the first amphibious aircraft in the world to be launched by catapult with a full military load.
This painting shows the Supermarine Walrus embarking on another Rescue Mission.
